We will take you to our most favorite place in Europe, which is not just about architecture. You will be guided by me - Martin as your personal chef and Iva my partner and an architecture enthusiast. 

 

MAIN OBJECTIVE OF SOLO HOUSE by office KGDVS.

What does such an “architecture gallery” look like in a natural habitat? Most buildings are based on the client's specifications or the contexts in which they are placed. But what happens if you take the best architects and give them free rein? In the northwest of Barcelona, in the hilly terrain of the national park between Catalonia and Aragon, you will find the first "collection of architecture in Europe". This is how the project is described by its initiators, developer Christian Bourdains and art curator Eva Albarran. You can spend the night here in a round house by the KGDVS studio or in a concrete cube lookout by the Pezo von Ellrichshausen studio. Other projects already have their visualisations and will gradually increase.

PROCEDURE We will meet at the airport in Barcelona, we will have a journey of approx. 2 hours to the House (on the way, one more arch surprise from Ricardo Bofill and, depending on the time…) Upon arrival, accommodation in Solo house by office KGDVS. There are 2 bedrooms available for you, which share a bathroom and are separated only by a spatial screen - the entire space is almost walk-through. There is a swimming pool next to the bedrooms. We will occupy bedroom number 3, on the other side from you, and you will usually find us in the kitchen, where for the whole 3 days we will prepare local delicacies for you, always served in a different corner of the Solo house, paired of course with local wine and drinks. We also have a walk around the area, where you can discover more of the Solo houses and a land art gallery. If you feel like it, you can go on a tour of the local villages, but believe me, you won't want to leave the house.

 

Price:  188,000 CZK or 8.150,- USD for all 4 guests. 

THE PRICE INCLUDES: transportation from Barcelona to Solo house and back, 3 nights of Solo house by office KGDVS accommodation for up to 4 people, local food including your own chef for the entire stay, local drinks for the entire stay, wine tastings,.... basically all you wish for, we will be there just for you.
